Unfortunately, Sun's proprietary rack-mount kit for the SunFire 4810 does not allow the server to be mounted in non-proprietary cabinets. To resolve this issue, SharkRack has developed the 40-SF4810-R19-H, an alternative rack-mount kit that allows the SunFire 4810 server to be mounted into any 19" EIA standard computer cabinet.

The 40-SF4810-R19-H offers flexibility in depth of mounting from 24" to 36". Due to the size and weight of the SunFire 4810, SharkRack's rack-mount kit has been designed with a lift mechanism with handles that attach front and rear to the server. The rear handle is permanently installed while the front handle is removed after installation into the computer cabinet.
