SharkRack knows that security is an integral component of any data center. The TigerShark2 has the ability to incorporate advanced cabinet-level security in the form of the 40-T2AC002, an electronic door lock made specifically for the T2 cabinet system.

The 40-T2AC002 utilizes a locking swing-handle that disengages when a valid HID proximity card (electronic card) is waved in front of the lock. The lock handle senses the code from the HID card and automatically disengages the lock. Each swing-handle requires its own power source. Swing-handle locks and HID cards can be programmed with a code you choose.

Multiple handles can be linked together via the e-Line software and network gateway (40-T2AC005), not included with the purchase of the swing-handles. The E-line software allows administrators to control the locking systems remotely. The software allows the administrator to assign access codes, HID cards and/or active keys to users, as well as assigning access to handles.
